Dear Rohan, yes of coarse an elderly person can follow an organic food diet, if they consume organic food they will be limiting the exposure to pesticides and other chemicals including artificial fertilizers and herbicides. Organic food is the healthiest option so eating healthy food is one of the big concerns for elderly people. Antioxidants can have a greater impact from organic foods compared to non-organic foods. Organic produce contains much less cadmium, a heavy metal which normally accumulates in our kidneys and it can lead to kidney failure. These metals can cause several health problems like kidney failure, liver failure etc. Be sure to focus on staying hydrated and incorporating suitable physical exercise into your daily routine. For every elderly people it is very important to maintain a healthy and varied diet. I hope you are satisfied with the information above. Would you like to know anything else?
